Here are the 10 most likely guys in my opinion that the Vikings will have to decide on who to draft with their first round pick.

Derrick Gibson Safety Florida State Gary Baxter Safety/CB Baylor Ken Lucas CB Ole Miss Nate Clements CB Ohio State Tommy Polley OLB Florida State Markus Steele OLB Southern Cal Damoine Lewis DT Miami (Fl.) Marcus Stroud DT Georgia Michael Bennett RB Wisconsin LaDainian Tomlinson RB Texas Christian

Personally if I had pick of this group it would be Gary Baxter, but he is more of a man cover guy and may not be suited for our crap zone. Ken Lucas would probably be the safest pick, but his stock seems to be slipping after a poor post season game (I didn't see it). Also Marcus Stroud apparently had a really good combine. Bennett and Tomlinson would be good picks if we had a D, but I can't justify spending our top chance at an immediate impact player on O. Anyone have any thoughts on these guys or anyone else they think the Vikes may target with the 27th pick?

IF Green picks a RB in the 1st rd he ought to be HUNG although Red might give him another raise. Anyway we definitely go 'D' even Green knows that. Don't be surprised if we trade our number#1 for several other picks since we have so many holes on 'D' that one player especially at #27 will not help. GO VIKES!!!
