Looking for any information about the five (5) GE 20 ton Box Cab (Boxcab) locomotives built in 1938 (Builders Numbers 12445-12449) and the six (6) GE 23 ton Box Cab (Boxcab) locomotives built in 1939. (e.g. Indiana Gas & Chemical - Builders #12504 - Builders Date 3/1939)... I have an image of one of the 23 ton units taken at Lackawanna NY on 7/4/1972 by David Hamley, but it does not indicate an owners name and no builders Number is indicated (the builders plate is still on the locomotive). I would be happy to include a JPEG attachment of it to an e-mail for anyone who thinks they might be of assistance with identifying this unit...
