Have them make Gas R/C Cars/trucks. Have a street course going into a off-road course. if you want/can spice it up with explosive around the off-road course, stuff like that. If you are able to, could put my name in the credits...please,thanks.

or not, the point of the explosions are to be able navigate thourgh the course without being blown up. and using guns is just dumb and dangerous! think before you write

The shotgun idea was sarcasm, Andy. If you want to keep it serious, then I have to say that the idea of using ANY explosives is, as you put it, dumb and dangerous. Besides, who wants to work for ten hours on a project only to have it blown up by random chance? The object of JYW is to show inventive engineering solutions to the challenges. You want explosions? Watch the news.

How about using FULL size cars for the remote control vehicle? Limit the speed if you must. (Governer) Make it an obstacle challenge. ALSO! They have used small expolsives before on the show. Remember the mine clearing challenge. Could be small enough of a charge to just spray Paint. BUMPERS ON THE ROAD WITH BUTTON ACTUATORS TO SPRAY THE PAINT.

I have all ready done somthing like this. We built a armored car out of a old station wagon and hunted it over the course of a day with live ammo.(see "peoplehater.org") Chip tried it at JYW and had scary trouble with the RC units they were using. I would be more afraid of a out of control car than a plane! I will be on the show filming in the middle of September, don't ask me to tell you anything till it airs.
