Brick siding

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Does anyone know if they still make brick siding or at least that is what I've always heard it called. It use be be a very common siding on houses here in Arkansas when I was a kid. I think it comes in a roll sorta like rolled roofing and comes in lots of colors , brown and gray being the colors I've seen most. I want to cover my out buildings with it. I've had this idea all weekend and can't wait for the lumber company to open, so I can ask about it. I may have seen it on a house in the countryside pictures page. I can already see the hollyhocks growing up in front of it. Hope everyone is having a glory filled day , gotta go tend to the goats. Sherry

A word to the wise:Our friendly colony of termites were able to get to our house's lumber by sneaking behind our brick veneer. The brick goes all the way to the ground, an obvious no-no.
