Hoots Rat Killr.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Folks! I finally got puter to work'n and posted the rat device on the Countryside Picture page. I'll leave the pictures up for just a few days and then will delete'm. I don't wanna take up lots of room for these pictures. I also see that I can't use the name "Rat Zapper" as it's already trademarked. If you decide to build one of your own--it don't have to be just like this one. I built it rather quickly and didn't make it very purty. It will kill rats tho----! If anybody has any questions email me. I'm sorry I cant email these picts to all the emails I've received but in my "work'n" on the puter---I lost all those emails. Please observe the cautions I've posted! Most Capacitors don't have a discharging resistor installed on'm so they will hold a charge until discharged--even after they're unplugged!!! An insulated screwdriver will work fine to "short" across the terminals to discharge the capacitor after it's unplugged. Be careful with this dude as it will "bite" the hand thats work'n with it. Have fun and KILL THOSE RATS! old hoot. Matt.24:44
