Can't copy a VCD--should I use SAO RAW or DAO PW

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I used Plextor PX-W1210A to copy a set of VCDs which consists of 16 discs. Of the 16 discs, I was able to copy 15 discs using Nero but one gives me troubles. Neither Nero 5.0.3.5 (data mode 2, ISRC, raw, write uncorrect data) or CDRWin 3.8D (raw, ISRC, ignore errors, auto jitter correction, auto subcode extration) could extract an image of the disc. Why Nero and CDRWIN couldn't extract an image of the disc? Then I used BlindRead 3010 (nibble method) to make a image of it--no errors dected! I burned the image using Blindwrite 09910 (DAO - PW). My Pioneer dvd player couldn't play the copy but it did play the original disc properly. Then I played the copy on PC using Winamp with NiceMC--it played flawlessly. What is the problem with cd dupliation method? Should I have used SAO -RW to burn the image? What are differences between DAO - PW, DAO - PQ, and SAO Raw, and SAO RAW RW? Please help.
