Created VCD, could play smoothly on PC but couldn't be played smoothly on VCD player

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I created a VCD using NERO and could be played successfully on the computer but when played using a VCD player it seemed to play very slowly and both the video and audio seemed to paced down, distorting the original quality. I tried playing on both NTSC and PAL tvs and the same problem occurred. I would like to know how I can solve this and watch the vcd successfully on a player. Thanks

it could be the CD-R media that your VCD player doesn't like. Of course a PC will play pretty much anything but some VCD players do not play CD-R's (either a certain type of CD-R or just CD-R's in general) that well.
