Where can one buy an EOS 30 in the U.S.?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Canon EOS FAQ forum : One Thread

I've already got an Elan 7E, and I want to get another. Sometimes I shoot situations where it can be really helpful to have a long lens on one body and a short lens on another (there's no time to be switching lenses). There's also times where I'm out shooting and I really wish I could have a body loaded with color slide film and another loaded with black & white negative film (some subjects lend themselves strongly to one or the other). Soooo... I thought it would be useful for my second body to be an EOS 30 (the grey market version of the Elan 7E), so that I would always be able to tell them apart and know which one has the slide film and which has the neg film. Does anyone know of a reputable dealer in the U.S. that carries the EOS 30? B&H carries grey model lenses, but for Canon camera bodies, they seem to only carry the import QD version of the EOS A2E (I guess because there is no U.S. QD version?). Thanks in advance...

I've never seen a 30 for sale in the US. A couple other solutions come to mind: stick a label on one camera, get a non-E body, get a cheaper body for the film you'll use less of, or have a grip on one body.

BTW CW has the Elan 7 for $386 and free shipping until the 8th. Just weeks after I bought mine for $420 + shipping, sigh.
