Here is some news from a site, don't know how old it is.

Windows 95 and Playstation versions, being developed by Cryo for Viacom New Media have been discontinued. After the merger of Viacom New Media with Virgin Interactive, the game was deemed outdated and consequently set aside. Virgin Interactive will be starting from scratch for the Aeon Flux CD-ROM, pending decision.

As it turns out, Cryo was the second company to attempt development of an Aeon Flux video game. A company by the name of either Northstar or Microstar in northern California was the first programming house to be contracted to develop the game. However, they apparently spent the first 3 months of development watching Aeon Flux episodes and trying to interpret their meaning, and consequently got very little work done. It is rumored that this company no longer exists

I want an Aeon Flux game now, it's so annoying to go back and watch the ep and to see the previews of a game that does not exist. There is a game called quake 3 (i think), i'm not sure who told me about it of if we have discussed it before, but you can download the char aeon, and go around shooting ppl on the game. But wouldn't it be great for something more? Like a rp-game where you have to sit and think about it? unstead of going around just shooting ppl.

Yes quake 3. I'm pretty sure i've seen an Aeon Flux skin for quake 2 and quake3, but it's just a skin. If there are any fans that can program, maybe you could make a mod for one of many FPS. But I was looking at gtinteractive a game company, and they are realesing a game based on the series 'la femme nikita' which does sound alot like Aeon. (female spy/assassin) anyway it is interesting to know that GT were developing the first Aeon Flux game, but it got scraped for some reason.

ok, no one has gone into the details so let me fill you in. Yes, the game was cancelled, but it was still released (same characters etc...) under the name Pax Corpus, it was released in Europe I believe. For the full story visit Foozwak.

This game sounds better than I expected. Reworking characters into different roles from their episode's experiences, (I know, they're not real....) and the part about having to locate some little mechanism so as to create a duplicate of Aeon while she was still alive all sounds really fun for us fans. I salute Cryo-interactive for releasing it, but I'm not surprised it got poor reviews because don't you think when they changed the names of the characters that meant they it hit the market blind? Who would know to rent the thing, not any Fluxophiles! Only the target audience. Wonder if they have any more left in the wherehouse?

Pax Corpus is *incredibly* hard to find. I have the Playstation version of it and I got it from this dude in Germany, but I remember it being very difficult to dig up. Haven't played it yet. If when I eventually try it out I don't like it, you can have it for free.

The walkthrough for it on Gamefaqs is something you should read if you wanna get a feel for whether or not you're really interested.

Wait, i thought that the Aeon game for Playstation was never finished/released? This is very confusing now, and I must find a copy of this game if it exists. Anyone have any info as to where to get a copy of it?

Actually, Pax Corpus is not that hard to find, even the PC version. There are for example 2 available in a zshop of amazon.com for around $15. At amazon.co.uk one is offered for lbp 1.99. After all the game isn't that great. You can see that some of the animations and sounds are inspired by AF and it has an overall SM touch, but all in all it's very poorly done. I suppose that's why they couldn't get the AF license. Anyway, as it is part of AF history (kind of) I'm glad to have it.
