Groundhog day again. During the 70-80's the Vikings always were at the bottom of the NFL in payroll, yet Mike Lynn was the highest paid GM. Vike payroll is dipping again, yet Denny makes $3 million. How can they afford to pay a coach so much since they produce such low revenues at the dome?

There is a lot of revenue that we don't know about through NFL licensed products, TV deals, etc plus they hold cities hostage to provide the facilities they demand. It's a giant corporation and the profit, not the sport, is all important. It's a far cry from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s - and it is turning ugly. I really feel bad for the players that give their all and when they finally make the big bucks - they get cut. It's business alright and it stinks!
