Would y'all be interested in a recipe of the week thread? I have a couple ideas, one better than the other, I think.

1. 3 people could post their favorite recipe each week. Those that are interested could try 1 or all of them and give the opinions/results.

2. We'd pick a recipe topic-like whole wheat bread-then anyone that wanted to could post his/her favorite whole wheat bread recipe. Then we could pick 1, try it and give our reports.

I like the second idea better. What do you think?

After reading bac over this, I knew something didn't sound right, I meant to say in the 2nd suggestion, we could pick whatever 1 we want to try, not all pick the same 1, of the other is an option, too.

Cindy:

This was suggested about a month or so ago, but no one chose to run with it. Perhaps a title like: Recipes of the Week: Roast Beef or :Garden Fresh Peas or :Venison or :Rabbit or :Whatever. Perhaps select one appropriate for the season, such as lamb for Easter.

Ken, I must have missed that thread, but then I haven't been able to read as many as I used to, not that I'm busy:~}. I like the seasonal idea,too, that can be worked in quite well, I think.
