i dont think ive seen this suggestion yet!

build a car!..but not just any car, but one that has articulated steering , the type the heavy loaders use, where the steering is accomplished by putting a hinge in the middle section of the vehicle, rather than turning the wheels themselves, counterweighting could be one of the necessary inclusions to the design for stability. and no, i`m not suggesting a loader! thats already been covered 742 times! another possible version of this might be to employ a push/pull design!..with engines front and back! it`ll turn on a dime for sure!

This could be a fun challenge in both the making and the running! I cans see the challenge being an obstacle course/maze with increasingly tight turns. The team that gets the furthest into the maze wins. (And the team that builds a vehicle light enough to pick up and turn in the tight spots will win for sure!)
