Anyone have rice milk recipes? my son loves the stuff and I'd like to make it myself and save some money. thanks D

You can find ricemilk recipes by doing a search on ricemilk. There's approximately 56 websites there. The third one has recipes but you have to have special equipment. There's a vegetarian site with a recipe.

Hi DeeDee, My children are allergic to milk, fresh soy milk[homemade is our favorite] alomond milk taste even better but it cost lots more, I make rice milk by cooking the white rice with extra water, until it is very over done, watch it because it scorches easy, then blend it smooth, add water as needed to thin it. Sometimes I get some sediment, I just pour off the good part, add a touch of sweetener and a little guar gum for more body while blending,if you use too much guar gum, it will taste something like dirty hay,[I can't think of a better description of excess guar gum] give a minute or two to thicken up. It taste the best when very cold.

I have recipes for nut milk, sesame milk, and oat milk, if you're interested.

Buying these through a co-op saves lots of money if you don't want to make your own.

Hi! You can find rice milk recipes in Harvey & Marilyn Diamond's books, Fit for Life series, along with Almond Milk, and Soy Milk.
