Which yellow filter will be most useful if I want to take pictures of people with black & white film. Light yellow, medium yellow, or dark yellow?

thanks,

None of them.
A yellow filter will make lips look pale and emphasise any veins close to the surface of the skin, giving the complexion the look of an older person.
Use a pale blue filter to make the lips look darker and to hide any varicose veins. Also makes blue eyes a bit lighter as well.

A yellow/green works nicely as does the blue but I would stay away from just the yellow.

Another vote for the yellow green filter. BTW If your subject has freckles avoid the blue filter.
