Custom Function of EOS 10s

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Canon EOS FAQ forum : One Thread

I just bought a used EOS 10s to complement my EOS 620. Unfortunately the seller did not include the user manual. I can figure out some of the function of the camera but I was stuck to what the CF are. Could somebody who has the same camera inform me each of the CF are. Also, there is a red button on the front left of the camera that I don't have any idea what it is for.

Thanks a bunch, Hendi

Custom function lists for all Canon cameras can be found at: http://www.photozone.de/EOScf.htm

The red button is actually an IR port for the little IR bar code reader that Canon marketed for the 10/10s and 100/Elan. They are of questionable use are not marketed anymore, but you can find them for sale fairly often on Ebay.
