Bassett Puppies

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

The Basset puppies have arrived! I have not slept in 40 hours. We have 6 females and 7 males. All healthy and quite vigorous. I would like to thank everyone who replied to my question about momma's frostbitten nipples. They are all healed and functional. Thanks for the wonderful advice.

Neat! When I was a kid, a neighbor had a Basset named Chauncey and I've loved the breed since.

Congratulations on your new babies! Are you planning on selling them? I just love Bassetts! We have been looking for one in our area, hopefully we'll find one soon! :o)

Flopsy, our Basset, and I send our congratulations. Flopsy is 14 this past Valentine's Day and she is still going strong! She has no health problems, just some old age related things that don't really stop her from getting around. Hope you have the same good luck I have had in having a great dog.

Congrulations are in order, I'm jealous, 13! My two bassets send their best wishes. I imagine you'll have every kid for miles around wanting to play with the puppies soon.
