Eddie Mac has agreed in principle to restructure his contract and reduce his cap number for this year according to the Star tribune. He will take a paycut in return for incentives. I think it's a good move he's still a decent player and at worst adds some depth???

I agree. Even though years and injuries have taken their toll, he has plenty of experience and has been an intregal part of the team. He should be a settling influence for the newcomers on defense. I am, of course, assuming that our defensive needs will be addressed!
