We made our last mortgage payment at end Aug 94. the property was sold Mar 95. Citibank wrote to us to inform us that they had assigned debt to PSPC on 1st June 95. In Dec 2000 we recieved a letter from Facility Trading Services Ltd Agent for PSPC stating that assignment from Citbank took place on 25th Aug 2000. Is this legal any comments please.

I cannot comment on debt assignment as I'm not an expert, but do see under 'Repossession' (6/12 years) for the possible implications of your having made your last payment in 1994.
