This challenge has been suggested about a dozen time in the past couple of weeks. BTW, the caps button is located just to the left of the "a" on the far left of your keyboard....press it until the light on the top right of your keyboard turns off.

I think that instead of building excavators or front end loaders that they should try building something like a go-cart or a small air- plane. Something that might be a little nore challenging to them might be nice to see.

Listen Rick...I'm well aware of where the caps lock button is!All you have managed to do is show your ignorance.I'm a busy man and don't have time to search all the suggestions which have been made.I just a fan of the show giving my opinion.I believe that's what this descusion was created for ,not a haven for smart-alicks.

Two Battling robots that will fight to the finish, until one falls apart or one totally doesn't run anymore

Two Battling robots that will fight to the finish (no cheesy 3 minute limit), until one falls apart or one is dismantled by an opponent. The bigger, the better. (Kind of a Junkyard Robot Wars)

I think it would be a boring one.How about building a monster truck?

-- linda lind (tredlin@epix.net), March 02, 2001.

what about a tank rides around a track firing a gun on it at targets in one big race off-road

All your past "Walking machines" have been very heavy, How about one that walks then floats across a pond then walks again on the other side?

-- Bill Mercier (bondo@cfl.rr.com), March 07, 2001.

Build a hut tha can be in 200mph winds. If neither can, time it and see.

How about just an elevator. It must lift a load... say, 100 gold bars (heavy) and 10 containers of water all adding up to a gallon. It would have to lift the load 15 ft, stop and then come down. The team that spills the least amount of water wins.

I'd like to see them bild a scooter that they all can ride.

-- sean moline (www.Melody@seward.net), April 09, 2001.

Hey, everyone: Listen to Sean! Think about it: A push scooter big enough for four adults- and they all have to ride it at the same time! It would have to be very well built to hold their combined weight, and they would all have to figure out how to ride it at once without swerving and falling over. It would be hilarious to watch- Picture the Bodgers against the Brothers In Arms! What fun! Sean, you da man!
