Moving dirt, particularly vertically, is a good challenge. Have contestants fill up a large box (say 5x5x5 yards) from a large pile of dirt about 20-30 yards away. Moving the dirt horizontally is itself a good challenge, but moving it vertically and competitively makes it devilish. There are multiple viable methods and multiple mechanical challenges, so much thought is needed.
