Photography Studies

Hi there, i m from Morocco and considering photography studies in the US. Im having some difficulties finding out about university photography departments, which ones are the most performant ? i browsed and browsed and found Syracuse and Penn State, nice websites but whats behind it ? can someone suggest a few or refer me to a site that does a sort of ranking? Thank you for helping me out !

That's a pretty broad question. Which aspect of photography are you interested in? Art, journalism, commercial, etc......... I think you will find that you will have to narrow down your interest in photography to some of these areas, and see which one is most important to you, and then I think we can help you by suggesting some schools.

As Christian asks, what do you want to persue? There are good commercial schools... Brooks Institute, RIT to name a few. These are 4 year schools. Then there are art schools. You can find a few by going to www.aj.com and plugging in the info you want to research.
