Why is there scoring for only one Magical Drop 3 Survival Mode now?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread

Magical Drop 3's Survival Mode has three levels of difficulty, and each deserves it's own ranking. It used to be that way - when and why did it get switched to a single mode? For example, the scores in 2nd and 3rd are from survival mode easy - they should be seperate from medium and hard because the challenge with easy mode is to score lots of points in the limited number of levels. (The current score in 1st place uses some new technique currently in dispute)

The split rules are if they have different levels and are quite a bit different from another game, then it gets split. Magical Drop 2 and 3's survival mode does not fit this description - they're basically the same game. This is why Pat merged the sets together. GB9
