I just want to make fucking sure that it's alright to cuss in here! I like to say a few choice words from time to time and don't want to feel like I've got to watch what I say!, Of course I won't be as bad as IZ when he has something on his mind.

LOL, Ralph. I can't speak for anyone else, but personally I have no problem with someone speakin' their mind with a few choice words from time to time. Frankly, I can't imagine any true Viking fan who hasn't used a few choice words over the last couple years.

Hey Ralph, I would have like to of heard some of that profanity during the Championship disaster but I agree with moderation it should be allowed.

As long as they aren't directed at other posters, it's fine by me, Ralph

You mean we can say what's on our mind and not be afraid of the language police? It's about damn time! As we all know, being longsuffering Vikes fans, swearing is just part of the game. Usually part of every game.

You all made my day! LOL

I would like to see some form of photo gallery seperate from the info and comments, Some members have great pic's of trips to the games or the places where they hang to watch the games and I enjoy checking that stuff out.

Great Idea Ralph! I wanna see your tattoo!

We could do that, Ralph. We could also create a seperate "Photos" category on this board to permanantly store them in. If you or anyone would like to have a picture posted here, email it to either Mark or me and we will see that it gets posted. Let's see that tatoo Ralph!

Great, now we have Ralph cussing and showing us his pictures of himself and his tattoos. As long as none of them are on his unmentionable parts we'll be ok. LOL

-- Dan (hookti1@aol.com), February 18, 2001.

Hey! Dan I'll send the group a toned down version but for you I'll send a full blown pin up of me and my Tat! Yea! that's right all 300 lbs of Viking love! All for you man!

-- Ralph (RFELIX7550@aol.com), February 18, 2001.

OK Ralph. Now I'm getting scared. And that takes a lot to scare me, especially with the hillfolk I come from. LOL

-- Dan (hookti1@aol.com), February 20, 2001.

Maybe Dan and Ralph need to get a room? ;-P

I wish there was a way that once you read a message it wouldn't pop back up when you hit new answers. If it says there are 2 new answers you can go to the end and count up, but that's not as easy when there are 19.

-- Jack (Cloquet33@mmcable.com), February 20, 2001.

Hey Deb, only if you are with us and Ralph is not!!! ;-)

I'm not sure I'm clear about what you're describing here, Jack, but let me give it a shot...

"I wish there was a way that once you read a message it wouldn't pop back up when you hit new answers.

The thing to keep in mind is that new replies might have been added to the message since the last time you read it. In that case you would want it to pop back up under new answers. Also keep in mind that the "New Answers" are in chronological order with the subject receiving the most recent new messages listed at the top. In other words, you can click on the subject listed first, scroll to the bottom of that page and read the new message(s). You can then click on the subject listed next and read it's new messages. Etc. When you finally get to a subject and find that you had already read the last message posted there, you will know the remaining subjects do not contain any messages which are new to you.

If it says there are 2 new answers you can go to the end and count up, but that's not as easy when there are 19

If I understand you correctly, you are referring to the number of new messages added to a single specific subject... When I am checking a subject that has new messages I will first scroll to the very bottom of the page and then scroll up to the last post I recognize as having read before. I will then begin reading down from that point. It's much easier and much faster to do it that way. (I pay no attention to the board's feature of giving me the actual "count" of new messages.)

Hope that helps.

I have no problem with that. ////////////////////////////////// In other words, you can click on the subject listed first, scroll to the bottom of that page and read the new message(s).

This is where I don't like this type of board. The messages that you have already read are still there and you have to scroll down and try to figure out what is new. With so many "me too" type of posts its hard to tell whats new. ///////////////////////////////////////// You can then click on the subject listed next and read it's new messages. Etc. Say maybe we need different folders or area's to click for Questions, Suggestion, Media, Photo's and so on. Ralph

-- Ralph (RFELIX7550@aol.com), February 25, 2001.

Ralph- Does this help?...

Scroll down to near the bottom of the main page. There you will see a list of messages by classification.

When a person initiates a new topic [Click on "Ask a Question" in top left corner of main page], they are asked to choose a category for their post from a drop-down menu. The menu currently lists; Draft, Media, Around the NFL, Photos and "Unknown". I will also add "Suggestions". We can add more categories if we wish.

These classifications are useful when searching for previous messages but it's up to each individual to ensure their new topic is placed in any specific category.
