Build paint cannons, similar to the water cannons from the fireboat episode. Each team has a large wooden square that they must cover in paint as completely as possible in one or two minutes. (Put a grid over the area to measure the coverage, perhaps.)

It's got engines, it's got color, it's got noise, and if catastrophic failure occurs it's got three contestants and one expert covered in paint dripping from head to toe. :-)
