People love speed and also seeing people hit the drink. A personal watercraft race would give teams an opportunity to choose between several types of propulsion. With a relay race format each team member could take a turn. Designs could vary from scaled-down motor boats to wave-runner type sealed units with a water jet propulsion or even human powered pontoon-type paddleboats.
