Well, I mosey'd over to ole jeeps house this afternoon. Don't think I'll be goin back real soon. He had a coffin on the sawhorses, putt'n the finishin touches on't. Ask'd me if'n I wanted to lay down inside and have a "look feel". Told'm I didn't think so as I had other things to do that required my presence elsewhere. I left!-QUICKLY! I believe the boy is gonna do alright with'm. I just cant get used to the idea of be'n around those things. To him, it's just some woodwork. To me it's a COFFIN! I'd much rather sell/build console radios. Our new website isn't quite finished yet. It'll feature the coffins, radios and the old time wood ice boxes. All this think'n about "body boxes" has depressed me so much that I believe a chicken sandwich would be in order! Oh! BTW -our new website addy is [when it's done] is www.illinoishillbilly.com. He hasn't been following you around with a measuring tape has he? Have you been looking kinda peeked lately? Maybe you need some of my homemade chicken noodle soup!!! That's the ticket!

I'm with you Hoot! I never could get used to the site of a coffin. Let alone lay in one. Stick to the radio's.

Can't wait to see the new site.

Hoot, my family is from North Carolina. When my grandfather was a young man he found it difficult to get a job. The only job he could find was being a mortician's assistant. One day he went to work and he was more than a little bit nervous. The mortician kept telling him he would get used to it. At about that time one of the bodies "sat up". My grandfather said he ran out of their so fast that he was just a blur. He didn't even go back to pick up his pay!
