A possible solution to the co host situation?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Junkyard Wars : One Thread

I posted this as a reply to an earlier question thread, so maybe no one has seen it. Would it work for the show to have celeb. guest co-hosts? That way a different one for every show would connect the show with their fans, as well as giving everyone someone new to roast each week. I would like to see how Jeff Foxworthy (of Ya might be uh redneck fame) would handle the part. Waddy/ "Wreckspert" for the "Rusty Juveniles"

theres no way that jeff foxworthy could host this show. at least not giving the teams the 10 hr time constraints!.......it would have to be modified to about 14 hours , to allow for the continous laughter! yes...i would love to see hosts/co-hosts like this on the show!....this is something that would be right up his alley!

Even *this* thread has been done before, but without many suggestions. My number one suggestion remains Bill Nye (the Science Guy). It would be a much more dignified gig for Bill than "Battlebots" (where Bill does brief segments on the "science" of fighting armor-plated-radio-controlled cars).

Bill could also be a judge for some competitions, or even, may God have mercy on me for suggesting it, replace Cathy for the "let's explain the science" bits of the show. Cathy and George/Robert could interact with the contestants and Bill could do the science. I'm liking this idea.

Bill Nye is the most annoying guy on the telly. He's right up there with "Ask Dr. Science......

Bill Nye and Cathy would be great for the U.S. version. He's wasting his time on Battle Bots. Now that Mr. Roger's Neighbourhood has ended, Fred Rogers is probably looking for some work. Could you imagine him as a co-host? --- Trebuchet....Can you say that? Tre-boo- shay...I knew you could.
