World War II Camera???

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Brownie Cameras : One Thread

What is the best, cheapest, and 120 film using camera that would have been used during WWII. I am looking to get a camera to use at WWII Living Histories to take period photos. Any information would be great. Thanks.

Jonathan, your best bet is to look for a non-Kodak box camera that took 120 film. You can find them on ebay and at online camera dealers such as Fatman's Camera Shop and Catpawfoto, both of whom deal at rubylane.com. Both of the dealers there are very helpful when it comes to answering questions. Peter Bailey at Fatman's Camera will be able to steer you in the right direction, so start with him, if you haven't already found the camera you're looking for.
