Please realize that there is an effort to kill Junkyard Wars in America. My local cable provider never acknowledged the show. When it found a time slot on Thursdays, the local cable pre-empted the the prime time slot with cop/emergency shows. Do the producers of the show know that this was going on? Now it has a slot on Monday, or does it? Of course it didn't air at either the 8pm or 10 pm slots - this time it aired at 9pm. Neither Yahoo! or the Denver Post had Junkyard Was in the TV schedule on Monday. A local Southern Baptsit minister transmits a reactionary-christian radio station -- for the main pupose of keeping a public radio station from Colorado Springs from being heard. I have spoken to the major people involved. CBS bought an Austrailian documentary (aca Channel 9). The producer promised me in the early '90s that it would be aired. It was never aired. Wake up people: This is America. Did you expect a democracy?

Huh? Can a local cable provider pre-empt a TLC program? I never knew of JYW to be shown on Thurdays? Are you sure that you didn't get the day wrong? It has been on Wednesdays Since November.

The recent series doesn't show up in any listings other than the TLC web site. I'm not sure if they put it on at last minute to carry through some momentum, or what.

I'm just happy it is still on, even if I haven't watched last night's episode yet.

Whoa - that wasn't *too* psycho.

The main distributor of channel guide data, Tribune Media Services, didn't correct the Monday TLC schedule until late Sunday, so it's no surprise that lots of guides got it wrong on the 29th. When you find a guide error, you can complain to them at zap2it.com. Sometimes it even works! PV

I don't know if it was only in Trinidad, Colorado or if the distribution from Colorado Springs as well did it, but every early Thursday night JYW episode was NOT shown. The late night (usually 10pm-midnight repeats were shown). The cable provider is "Adelphia", last year it was "Century Communications".
