SEN. PLAIN JANE: HILLARY CAUGHT IN GLAMOUR SPIRAL

WASHINGTON -- In her first weeks out of the White House, former First Lady, now Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, has stunned Washington watchers with a dramatic lifestyle change. Hillary's appearance has undergone a reverse metamorphosis from butterfly back to caterpillar.

Make-up has gone missing and hair has dropped flat. Grooming is taking a backseat to legislating.

The former First Lady has even been nicknamed "Senator Plain Jane" by some staffers on Capitol Hill. And she couldn't care less.

Fashion on ration with little passion.

It's off with the Cinderella gowns and on with the work pants, sleeves are being rolled up revealing fingers left unpolished.

"Is that her?!" proclaimed one Congressional aide as Sen. Clinton's entourage rushed past.

The woman who once graced the cover of Vogue now appears like a flashback from her college yearbook.

Dropping all pretense, lowering some Estee Lauder defense: The real Hillary Rodham emerges for the world to see.

"Hillary's not gonna play that Kay Bailey game," said one insider.

"Spending all of her time in front of the mirror getting all dolled up like a debutante. She is mastering the issues, representing her constituents in the spirit of Bella Abzug."

Far away from the pressures of the White House and trying to compete for affections, Hillary has gone au natural, back to the earth to rediscover her roots. A new feminist dynamo who doesn't give a damn what the men say in the Cloak Rooms. She's doing it her way.

The woman doesn't have a beauty salon in her home with a hairdresser at her beckon call as she once had in the WH, compliments of us taxpayers. She could give a shit about women's rights. All she cares about is her friggin' rights. She'll do anything, say anything, even lie, cheat, and shred evidence to get ahead. Even the NY Times called her a liar, yet still endorsed the wicked witch of the west.

If she truly was a "feminist dynamo" she would have left her husband the first time she walked away from him in Arkansas.

I'm goina love to see this played out in the Senate. How will she be treated? How will she treat others?
