Speed Boats with no propellers.

One of the best shows was the walking machines. A normal subject, with a twist. I would like to see the speed boats done without propellers. This would require a paddle wheel of some kind, a screw drive (from a grain auger), or a belt drive with scoops (from a conveyor). These are just a couple of possibilities. It would be fun to see what people can come up with.

Another idea is a vehicle that can haul the most load. Drive from point A to point B, add more load and back to A, add more load and back to B, and so on until they won't move. This would require big engines, low gearing, strong frames, wheels with no rubber and maybe some kind of traction device on the wheels, such as studs. Having a time limit would make the trade-off between low gears and speed.

I love the idea of tug boats. You could have the tractor pull episode on water.
