As you are aware, EOS 300 is an European model. I bought this in Germany. All manuals are in Germany. Where and how can I get the manual in English.

Contact Canon. They will sell you one. If you are in North America the EOS 300 goes by the name "Rebel 2000"

Definitely, call Canon and they'll send you one (at a small charge of course). I did that and recieved mine within a week (this is in Australia though but I'd imagine they'll have similar arrangements).

You could also buy this book:

Canon Users Guide EOS 300/Rebel 2000 by Philip Raby (Hove Foto Books, ISBN #1874031320). Price is about DM 40,-, you can try and buy it in camera stores, go to a big bookstore or buy it online.

It's like the the Users Manual but gives you more info.
