The South Carolina RR Museum has NS 49 & 50 in their collection. These cars transported the Best Friend of Charleston replica. My question is are they White or Lt.Grey? Also does anybody know the LxWxH of the box on #49? Thanks,John Hecker Joh

I don't know how they look now, but they use to be colored green and had yellow lettering. I don't have the other info, but it should come along.

I would say light grey. I've walked by that stuff a hundred times in the last year but never paid it alot of attention.

The cars were light gray with black lettering. This style was also used on the Exhibit Car. Frankly, it is a big letdown from the beautiful Green and Gold the cars originally carried.
