Ulead Media Studio: Anyway to use it as frame server?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

Hi,

I have been using MSP 6.0 for video editing for quite a while because the video effects are sufficient for my use, and it is quite easy to be familiar with, when compared to Adobe Premier.

I mainly use it for creating VCD with TMPEG. Normally I have to create an intermediate AVI file, which takes time and mainly hark disk space.

Is there anyway to use MSP 6.0 with frame servers? Avisynth is only for Premier, right?

Maybe we can petition Ulead to include such frame server into their product?

Hi Rusman

No

I have been using avisynth with DV type 1 "created files" and it works fine but not direct from the timeline.

My site gives details of what I have been doing (SVCD or VCD page):

Hi Ross.

I read your page about the avisynth before. However, that won't help me eliminating the needs for intermediate files, right? I need to do subtitle, video effect and audio dubbing. It would be great if I can just server the frame out from the timeline. But it looks like I have little choice... MSP 6.0 is great. Just wonder when Ulead will add this frame server.

Thanks anyway,

Rusman
