How about having the contestants build a fire truck. The truck could be self contained meaning that it would have to carry it's own water, water pump, ladders, hoses, the team,....did I leave anything out? Oh yes it would have to be able to move around under it's own power. The pump could be either human or machine powered. You ccoukd have the contestants race around a course putting out fires. It would not only be a challenge to get the machinery to work but to make their supply of water last to put out several fires.

cool idea. but.... i don't think 10 hours is enough time. they've done both ideas (water pump & vehicle) in 10 hours a piece. who knows?

I think the fire truck is an excellent Idea, maybe have an obstacle course to the fire(s). I agree it would need to have it's own water supply and be mobile. :)

well......actually it's possible.....I mean they did build the Fire Boats which is the same thing except now they need wheels...and a Water Tank to hold the water
