The theme of "The Black Cat" Is that a man has a huge love for animals and he marrys a woman that has a huge love for animals as well. So they raised a bunch of animals together. They had a black cat and he black cat was the mans favorite animal of them all. Soon the man began to drink then he started getting violent. He soon didn't care about the animals except for the black cat, He still treated it with a love. The his wife started to bug the man as he continued drinking. Then soon enought the black cat did to. So he hung the cat from a tree out in the backyard. He felt bad for what he did but he still had anger in him. So to prove he was sorry he bought another black cat. And he wanted to hurt the poor animal, But he didnt..because he still felt bad for what he did to pluto (the 1st black cat) and soon this cat got on his nerves very much. So the man chased the cat down to the basement. And his wife followed behind him. And the man picked up an axe to place it into the flesh of the poor cat. But the wife help the mans hand back so the man placed the axe in his wifes head and she dropped dead. And then he needed to get ride of the bodie so he put it in the basement wall and thats pretty much the main story! It's very good!!
