BRING US TOGETHER

greenspun.com : LUSENET : North Carolina Raves : One Thread

I am in Salt Lake where a good party is about 1600-2300 kids. I have been RaveN for only a year, but I can see that a majority of kids only go to get fucked up. There are some Candi Kids (no offense to some) that have NO idea the history of Candi and why those who wore it did. There are new skool and old skool Ravers period, and there seems to be a gap between the two. Understanding the way things are, I still believe that this is sooo wrong! What is a Rave? Music, ambience, vibe, love. Rave is home to us ALL, even those who have NO IDEA what a Rave, a TRUE rave, is. Us ravers need to come together, to promote right, not JUST for the cash. Three nights with J. Digweed, Sasha, Paul Van Dyk, Bad Boy Bill, John Boy, Locals from EVERY state...Bring ALL of the ravers out, by the thousands, LEGALY, and show just exactly what Heaven on Earth is. This is what I see, what some of us feel, and what we all want. This is where I am going, and I need help. To bring us all together. After all, you know what I do not.

Drum and Bass, Old skool vibe. Bring it back, Evolve the tribe. Follow her, To Cyber's Trance. Witness love, And Liquid dance.CD01~ CDO1

Yeah It is sad to see so many kids today wearing Kandi at Parties being all Kracked out on some shit, and it has jaded some people's thinking. But Candy Kids Started in the early '90 for the opposite reason. We were the kids that didn't get high. And so started the great exchange of goods. Many of us looked forward to exchange of wonderful Candies, and we truley lived for just that. And shopped at all the best toys stores for cool toys, and weird gidegts to take to a the party. I to became jaded and oneday just gave it all away. But Know as I am starting to party again I want my Candy back an I wanna strip all the fake wannbe Kandi Kids of there candy anybody down.
