We Are Organizing. We Will Fight.

Bush is officially President of the United States. To operate, he will need the consent of the governed. If he and his minions contravene the will of the people, he will be fought. We will fight him. We will subvert his agenda. We will make our voices heard and our will known.

As the founding fathers knew, governments derve their just powers from the consent of the governed. Just because GW took the oath and won the Electoral College doesn't mean jack shit, if the people do not consent to his government, or he ignores the will of the people.

Let him and all his supporters know this. Let them be aware. They cannot shove unwanted laws upon us. If they do, we will resist.

Listen up! Govern by the people's will, or we will resist! That's all.

"Listen up! Govern by the people's will, or we will resist!"

The Klinton's didn't represent the will of more than half the population and that half is concentrated in the major cities and heavily represented by people on various forms of public dole.

Your attitude can cut both ways. If the rabble starts making trouble there are plenty of us outside the cities that can make it pretty unhealthy if they decide to take it to the country. It is unfortunate that people like Jessie Jackson are doing their utmost to try and spark civil disorder.

Your attitude can cut both ways.

You said a mouthful. What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

Rome fell when the border tribes learned Roman tactics. In the Cold War, the conservatives in the USA absorbed the idea that to fight a foe who has no conscience, you must not hesitate to emulate them. They ridiculed the liberals for believing that it was possible to cooperate with Communists, to find common ground, to rise above ideology and find mutual solutions.

The trouble with throwing away your conscience is ever finding it again. Newt applied the same Cold War mentality against the Democrats. Now it is an article of faith with conservatives that they are engaged in a holy war and in war a tender conscience is a liability. The NRA, the Christian Coalition, Justice Watch and their sort have been giving free lessons now for a long time.

Conservatives may have embraced every nastiness in the search for power, but they can't take out a patent on it. I hope you all learn to like the taste of your own medicine. The border tribes are restless.
