answer to help with cost of solar

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Hi, remember a couple of days ago I wrote in asking if anyone knew of the California rebate program for solar home energy? My husband found the site on the web. It's under www.cheapsolar.com He said all the information needed is there, who to contact etc. The only draw back is that even with the "help" it's very pricey. We haven't looked into the details so don't know anything about the financing (I assume there is some) and etc. If we decide to delve into it futher I will post the outcome. If anyone out there checks into it further, or has more information, please do post it also. Thanks again for your many kind responses. Knowing all of you are out there is like having an extended family. Best wishes to all Cindy P

AZ has a tax credit for solar installations. BUT you must use a professional licensed installer (not do it yourself) to get the credit. Too many rip-offs in the past, I guess.
