Meyers-Briggs and other personality tests

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Ok, I found some addresses. Apparently some of the lesser tests have been removed as I kept getting referred back to one in particular which seemed a little nosey about personal info. My philosophy on the internet is dont say anything or give info that you wouldnt want to see put on a highway billboard. The first address is page that explains INTP personality somewhat. Notice at top of page you can go to other pages explaining other personality types. Click on your type. At bottom of INTP page is address if you want to sign up for the INTP list (free). I assume pages describing other types will have address if you want to sign up for list or forum for that personality type.

Second is non invasive Humanmetrics personality test. Its one I remember and is OK.

Rest you'll just have to explore. Dont take anything said too seriously and have fun.

Sorry, I reversed top two addresses. Top one is humanmetrics test. The second describes INTP and gives links to other types and to INTP list.

Now I got INFP (ISFP on the test I found). Actually, having read both of them, I see elements of myself in both of them. I am probably some rare 0.0025% of the population type! Sheesh. You're right, Hermit John, I won't take it seriously, or I'd tie myself up in knots!

I'm sure there are diffences in tests. But most likely nothing unusual, you are probably neutral in the second intuitive/sensing catagory. My ex was neutral in two catagories. I took test you found and I still ended up an INTP. Take too many of these tests and you get to figuring what answers to give to get certain results. Just have to answer first thing that comes into your head and move quickly down the list to get some accuracy.

I was hoping to find some of the really wierd personality tests I remember that dont necessarily use same catagories as M/B, but their site may no longer exist.

Here ya go....this isn't a test it just goes by your name. Found it when we were jokingly looking up our first names as .com addresses. You can do your middle name as well, but seperately. Have fun!
