how about making a vehicle of some sort, that has to negotiate a course, and/or accomplish a goal/task. the catch being that it will require EVERY team member be used in the actual operation of the vehicle!! one drives , one operates the throttle, one shifts.etc, this would indeed be in the true spirit of teamwork!

You might want to check out the Steam Car episode of Junkyard Wars. It has all the elements of teamwork you seek! The winning team, the NERDS, have a good detailed diary of how the entire team had to operate the steam car they built to victory on their website.
