You're right, al, God created us as vessels. We have a choice of who we contain: Christ whose spirit desire is self-for-others, or Satan whose spirit desire is self-for-self.

The desire of self-for-self is a lie. It is"I can be independent and be like God", which is what took Satan/Lucifer, God's best angel and made him His enemy. We are not independent, we are controlled by God or Satan.

Adam & Eve's sin in eating from the tree of knowledge gave Satan acess to all of us. But there's a spiritual law: when the body dies the spirit leaves. That's what happened at the crucifiction-Jesus took Satan into himself as a representative for us and when He died Satan got evicted. He gets evicted from each of our lives when we accept Christ as our Savior.

The daily challenge is living from our new spirit desire of self-for- others. We live fromthe spirit, not thoughts and feelings.
