The teams should have to build a demolition derby car. We have these during the county fairs. Local mechanics take a big american car, preferably a station wagon, and remove all the glass,interior,and exhaust. They also remove all other non structural gear. They chop holes in the hood, and run the exhaust headers out of there, they place a fuel container in the center of the vehicle so it doesn't get smashed. The doors are welded shut, and the hoods and trunks are held shut using straps or chains. The teams should have to make 2, and have a competition, the last car moving will win.
