I think they should build a crazy contraption that does a simple task eg. turning on a light in the most possible steps. The winner will be decided by creativity and number of steps.

Neat concept but not really JYW. The concept of the show IMHO is to solve a problem in the Quickest, Dirtyest, brute force method you can concieve. You came up with a great and intresting Idea for another show we all would watch.
