HONGKONG - A Cathay Pacific Boeing 747 with 245 passengers onboard landed safely here after shutting down an engine during a flight from Taipei, an airline spokesman said yesterday.

The captain shut down one of the four engines after realising it was overheating 10 minutes after leaving Taipei on Sunday, said Ms Lisa Wang. She added that no one was hurt. -- AFP
