Does anyone know how to convert DVDs and then burn them onto a VCD? I am using an iMac DV 400. thanks

Why you want to chang good video to poor video picture?, if you have a good reasion you, play from you DVD and capture video to your hard disk and burn to VCD.

This is called DVD ripping technique, and it's all software driven. Most of the ripping softwares available for this method are PC base. If you are using a MAC, then you will have a hard time to accomplish this function. Besides, you really don't want to do that anyway. Takes out all the fun in this hobby :)

What you have to do first, is to take the DVD, and transfer all that info onto your Hard Drive. This can be accomplished by utilizing the program by going to http://go.to/flaskmpeg. Then you change the format of the DVD from Mpeg-2 to Mpeg-4. This will decrease the size of the DVD from 6GB to about 700MB, with not much quality lost. Taaaaa Friggin Daaaaa! Yeah, I am the man!!!!!
