For kids (if you ever have it for them) have it with remote control cars ect... For the expert have one of their parents. Have books on building eletrical things for the kids to look at for the machine. I am 10 and my family loves to watch the show together. I have learned a lot from watching. Some day I would love to be a contestant! My favorite teams are the "Bodgers" and the "Brothers In Arms".

I am 14 and love the show, one for kids, kids/parents would be great, but how about something a little more complicated than remote control cars. I mean I just made my own speakers from scratch. P.S.My favorite team is the NERDS.

You're right, something a little more complicated would be better, especially with adult help. My dad is helping me learn about electronics so I'm not quite up to making my own speakers etc...yet! Thanks for your interest and ideas.

I'm 8 and i think that they should let kids on the show becouse it's not fare.I think that EVRYONE should be abel to get on the show. (exsepet baby's of course) But i know why you don't let kids on the show becouse we could get hurt. But if where with our parents then they can tell us what and what not to do then we wouldn't get hurt. I like the show and i watch it evrytime it come's on and my favrite team is the NERDS.

I am 11 and 1/2 and I Would like to participate in the show. I know that It's not easy for a kid like me to build something alone but with some help (the help of an adult) I am sure I will be able to do something of interresting like a catapult ...

I agree with a bunch of other kids,I am 12 years old. I think that there should be a JUNKYARD WARS children series and I would LOVE! to experiment and build the challeges given.

And to all of those adults who say that Kids would'nt be able to use power tools, welders, etc. and would not be able to complete these machines, Me and a couple friends aged 10-13 just completed a home built go kart with a welded steel frame and an vertical shaft lawnmowar engine.!!!!!!!I think kids aged 10 - 18 should be allowed on the show with teams that have 2 adults and 2 kids/teenagers.
