Has anyone tried developing RC prints in Amidol? Comments please.

Yes - don't bother. I have found no appreciable different using this developer with RC papers. On FB papers - now thats a different story altogether. I'll tell you what does work with RC, namely two bath development. Try Agfa Neutol WA at 1:15 for 1min 30 followed by a cold developer (eg Dektol, Tetenal Dokumol or Ilford PQ 1:4) for 30 seconds. You get lovely delicate highligts and robust shadows.
