Just curious.....wasn't it kinda odd that in the recent episode where they had to build the 4 wheel Off road buggies....that the guy seemed to just jump into the car.....and drive it on in? I mean....we usually have to see it hauled in.....or at least tinkered with a bit to get it running......I mean....were the Key's in the CAR? I love Junk Yard Warns....and I'm learning to live life withought Robert....but Let's Not Make the Show too easy. And I apoligies to the Teams if they take this like they just sailing thru...I'm sure it's hard....but then at least have the Producers make it look like a challenge for us viewers. I'd love to hear any other tidbits anyone would like to share.

GM cars are easy bust the column on the left side and start them with a screwdriver. no keys? no problem. No whining submit ideas help cathy and crew

Has no-one else here driven a car to a junkyard?I did it once, and got $100 for it! My choice was two ball joints, a wheel bearing, new floors, new exhaust manifold, and new oil pan. That would have passed safety inspection, but I would have gotten a new crop of problems in the next six months.
The Junkyard was going to used it to run around the yard until someone wanted the transmission from it.
Remember, this is a junkyard of "virgin junk". None of the good stuff has been pulled out yet.

Yeah, I was thinking -- what would have happened if they'd just driven the car as-is as their entry? Obviously that would be contrary to the spirit of the show, but would it be breaking any rules? Would they send Guido around to talk to you? How much do you have to change what you find before you have "built something"?

I am forgetful, but seem to remember seeing one of the dammage team hotwire the car, then bust the steer wheel lock with a BFH. Could be I just dreamed it.
