Can anyone inform me as to the compatibility of coupling a T80 to 300TL Speedlite flash. I am trying to find out if any of the flash programmes will operate or will it just function as a straight forward undedicated flash.

Answers

You can use the 300TL only on the manual settings (undedicated). For all other modes it requires film speed info and exposure feedback from the camera. Only T90s and EOS cameras can provide this.

If you want a flash that does support the programs, you'll have to get a T series flash; 277T and 299T do.
